Guest Speaker
We recently hosted an evening with speaker Sydney Brouillard-Boyle (Ney/Nem). Sydney is the Education lead at Transwellness Ontario.

Next Steps (June 2023)
After nearly two years of discernment and education, the Affirming Committee will propose to the congregation in September for Emmanuel to become an affirming congregation. We remain committed to being a welcoming and safe place for all people. For more information about our Affirming process please see Affirm United resources, or speak with one of the committee chairs or members.

Windsor Pride Community Diversity Training Workshop
On November 12, 2022 , members of Emmanuel participated in an excellent workshop presented by the Windsor Pride organization, giving us an opportunity to learn, reflect and have discussions about creating a welcoming and affirming environment for everyone, with awareness and sensitivity to 2SLGBTQIA+ issues and barriers to belonging.

PIE Day 2023
We celebrated PIE (Public, Intentional, Explicit) day with what else? pie!

Pride 2023
Members of Emmanuel walked in support alongside Tecumseh United in the Pride Parade. We look forward to more affirming events at Emmanuel.
