Pie Day 2024

PIE = Public. Intentional. Explicit.

These are the standards we hold ourselves to now that we have become an officially Affirming congregation. March 14 is PIE Day each year (3.14, the opening digits in the famous math concept of Pi!), a national celebration of Affirming values, and a chance to serve some literal pie and roll out the PIE by celebrating the full inclusion of LGBTQIA+ and Two-Spirit people in faith communities across Canada. We celebrated "PIE day" at Emmanuel on March 10 with worship and pie.

Pride Parade

Join in to walk or ride on our float which will be shared with Tecumseh United Church.  The Pride Parade will be on Sunday, August 11, beginning at 11 a.m.
